Technology Catch Up @ D.S

At D.S we have built a brand new computer hub building.
We installed some brand new windows P.Cs to kick start this new building and we had the opening yesterday. Because at D.S we are always catching up with the latest technology, all our oldies were glued to the amazing full colour screens.

Derrawarry Choir

Once again, the Derrawarry Senior Choir will be competing in the Southern Highlands Choir Eisteddfod. We have recently seen a short video of a senior choir from somewhere (although we're not sure if they'll be competing) but they sure look DA BOMB (of course, the youth say that! Laugh Out Loud or LOL if you're a youth!!) Anyway, here's just a peak of what could soon be the no.1 on iTunies or whatever it is that the youth use...




By all means, we do not own this gizmo but we found it on a brand new website called 'YouTube'. I'm sure we can get lots of use from this fun new technology!!

Our favourite pop sensation has once again topped the charts with her amazing new song!!11!1

Everyone is grooving to it at D.S! In fact it's the only song we are going to be playing at our Derrawarry disco, because it's the only song we can afford! Oh and of course it's a brand new fab song that everyones got playing on their walkmans this winter!! So celebrate, because Derrawarry's Favourite celeb, Kylie Minogue has made another come back!! 

There's No One on the Corner with Swagger Like Us!

At D.S, There is no one on the corner (or whole area) with swagger (as the youth like to say!) like us! We train the golden oldies to do modern dances like salsa and the Nutbush! As well as our talent show, we compete in the Southern Highlands Senior dance contest! We also listen to the top-of-the-chart songs and artists like Shakira (whoever she is) and Rehab by Amy Winehouse (RIP - LOL [we are getting really into this youth-of-today wording and phrases])

Going Into Winter at Derrawarry!

This fun "young" lady is having a jolly old time playing with fall the leaves as they fall off our famous oak tree!
"Oh I have great memories playing with leaves at my old house which was in...oh somewhere in Australia, I can't remember! Wait it was Sydn–..... no Melbo–...oh no it was...." Bathilda (87) 
She went on for about another hour, she did! She must've been to a lot of places as a child!

Summer Time at Derrawarry Springs

It's a whole new year, so why not make a bold new start and join the fun for the young at heart in our fantastic village with "state of the art" high techno entertainment and machines, quality accommodation and many "awesome" events.
Just to name a few of the marvellous activities in Summer 2012.............. Annual Cricket Bash, Twistin' by the Pool (or drinking fountain), Summer Series Talent Search and Bold and the Beautiful marathon.
